2023 Annual Dinner – exciting news This year’s dinner is on 25 March at the Golf Club. Secretary Role

Club Secretary Dear members, friends and supporters, Our Honorary Secretary, Alison Mable, has announced her intention to stand down at the end of the 2023 season after 9 years in the role.  In her time as secretary the club has grown significantly in terms of members, particularly at junior level, and the legal framework for a Charitable Incorporated Organisation such as ours has also expanded (eg. data protection, safeguarding, health and safety, development planning ). Cricket Week 2022

Cricket Week 2022 – including NEW free cricket camps and training sessions   Friday 22 July:  Academy v Academy Staff cricket match 6:00 pm – the traditional annual “grudguation match” between older Academy players and Academy staff. Normal training for other years.   Sunday 24 July – Rainbow Tournament 10:00 -12:00 –  this is for any children who would normally train on Sunday mornings. Message to parents of 14 to 15 year olds

Cricketers in the U14s and U15s are eligible to join the Cricket Leaders programme if they would like to. The purpose of the programme is to give young people between the ages of 14 and 15 the opportunity to acquire new skills and develop leadership skills that will allow them to volunteer within their cricket club and/or school. Vacancies in the Club

Coach at SWCC Saffron Walden Cricket Club would like to hear from any Level 2 or above coach who is interested in coaching for the 2022 season. This would involve acting as a lead coach for an age group, supported by assistant coaches.  Coaches are not required to manage teams.
