The club as a whole kicks into action this coming Saturday with our Annual Registration Day – and a very busy one it is too.

We ask all club members, players, Vice Presidents, volunteers, parents, sponsors and supporters to come down to the ground and sign on for the year.  The annual fixture card will be available free of charge and we will also have playing kit available.  Whilst there will be some stock available from last year, the new kit (styled on similar designs to last year) will also be available.

We are very pleased to announce that Gray Palmers will be stocking our kit and they will be there on Saturday to launch the range.  It is a smaller range this year after the difficulties we experienced last year.  The traditional woollen sweaters have been re-introduced but they will not be available until the following week. We will also have some second hand kit available.

Saffron Sports (offering 10% discount to members) and our old friends United Sports from Romford will be in attendance again.  They are there to sell to non-members as well.  Gary du Plooy will also be with us until midday selling junior and senior cricket bats from the Bellingham and Smith range.

At 10.30am Sir Alan Haselhurst will hoist our new flag on our new flagpole.  The Flag has been provided as part of the support given by Cheffins and the flagpole has been made possible by a personal donation from Paul Fairhurst of Fairhurst Menuhin Solicitors.  We are very grateful for their support – and very proud of our flag and flagpole! The Mayor of Saffron Walden, Cllr Keith Eden, will make a presentation to our groundsman, Graham Sneath.
Do come along and meet up with old friends and help us launch the new season.
Refreshments will be available.

NB – details of membership fees are here. Once you have registered and had your membership confirmed, it will be possible to pay fees online
