Disability cricket in Saffron Walden

Crocus Cricket is an Academy initiative designed to encourage children with special educational needs and disabilities to become involved in cricket.

The Crocus Squad will train on Thursday evenings from 6:15 to 7:15, starting on 28th April 2022. If your child would like to participate, do come along to see what’s going on. If you would like to know more, please email the club at [email protected]

If your child would like to attend for the whole season, please complete the registration form above and send it to [email protected]. The subscription for the season is £45. However, the Club is anxious that no-one should be exclude from cricket for financial reasons: if the subscription might pose any difficulty, please email David Barrs in confidence on [email protected]

“The Crocus Squad was a great start to my cricketing career – it inspired me to go into coaching and to play senior club cricket. Playing for Essex and England is a real honour. Without the support of Saffron Walden Cricket Club my journey would not have started.”

Dan Thomas, England Development Team Captain

Saffron Walden Cricket Club is proud to be an ECB Disability Champion Cricket Club, supported by Essex Cricket and the England and Wales Cricket Board
