Thanks to everyone who came along to register on the 26th and those who have registered since. We now need everyone to register on the database connected to our new ClubBuzz website. This means that we will be able to send you emails more easily, by different categories, and even send mass texts where it will be helpful (e.g. a sudden change of venue). It will also be possible for members to pay subscriptions online, and we will be able to keep track more easily.
You will shortly receive an email sent from through our ClubBuzz database. The details we have for you at the moment are those you provided when you registered or those you gave us in a previous year. The email will ask you to confirm your details online, and choose a password. This will then enable you to see Members’ pages too.
If you are a paying member (i.e. not a non-playing volunteer) and have not yet paid your subscription, the system will prompt you to pay via “GoCardless”. If you have already paid or intend to pay by cash or cheque, you can indicate that you are doing so. Senior playing members will have the option of paying by instalments (£45, £40 and £40), and should use the “first instalment” option if they want to do this. They will receive reminders for the other instalments later in the year.
This is a new system to us too, and we are hoping that it goes smoothly, but there may be some hiccups on the way. Please be patient – we think it will be worth it in the end!
