We have a number of volunteer vacancies which need filling urgently:
Press Liaison Officer – a task that can be done from home. Its purpose is to maximise coverage in the local press for both junior and senior teams. Reports are written by team managers or captains and then submitted on a template for checking and forwarding to local newspapers. Newspaper deadlines are usually Monday or Tuesday.
Early Years Registration Officer – a post that involves co-ordinating the registers on a Sunday morning for u5s through to u10s, ensuring they are kept up to date and fielding any queries that parents or youngsters may have.
Girls’ team manager – to work with Daniela Karsten and Jo Borgeson to ensure that as many girls as possible can enjoy cricket. The role will involve working particularly with u12 girls, liaising with opposition managers, selecting a team and ensuring transport is sorted for away matches.
