Many of you will know about “Live@ThePavilion”, which has been hosted at the Cricket Club for the last 2 years. As Carnival is only a year away, the organisers have instead decided to hold a Black Tie Ball…called “The REAL Ball”, at the Cricket Club on Saturday, 22nd October 2016. There has not been such an event in the town in the last 20 years so it is long overdue!
A 3-course meal, entertainment from the fabulous Jumbo and the Jets and an auction of promises will give an unrivalled night of entertainment. As ever the aim is to raise money for local youngsters, with all profits going to the SWCC Junior Academy, the Saffron Walden Rugby Academy and local children’s charity, REAL – The Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund.
