Saffron Walden Cricket Club has successfully been re-accredited under the ECB Clubmark scheme.
To get this accreditaion, we had to demonstrate that we have appropriate safety procedures, DBS-checked and trained coaches and managers, insurance, management structures, proper accounting and so on. But we also had to demonstrate that we are diverse and inclusive, listening to our members and sharing information with them, working with schools and other sports organisations and generally being welcoming, supportive and committed.
This accreditation is recognition of the work of all in the club, especially all our volunteers, players, and experts of various kinds.
